Alabama Baby & Child magazine has teamed up with Hands on Birmingham to help give Birmingham area moms an opportunity to volunteer to help other moms.
Now more than ever it takes everybody helping everybody. By becoming a volunteer with us you can pitch in as much or as little as you like. It can be as easy as making an Easter basket to donate or as challenging as helping build a home.
Hands on Birmingham will tag projects that specifically impact other moms and children. You may sign-up now for any of the upcoming projects.
Host birthday parties for children living at Jessie’s Place. As a team we will make a meal for families the Ronald McDonald House. We will choose a date and maybe grill hamburgers, have a spaghetti night or some other menu. You can contribute groceries. We will send you a list depending on the menu. And/or you can go with us to cook the meal there with the families.
