May is National Burger Month and Back Yard Burgers’ is marking the occasion by throwing back the price of its Classic Burger to $1.87 on Friday, May 19th. That’s the original price when the restaurant opened 30 years ago in 1987. Back Yard Burgers has teamed up with Share Our Strength (SOS) – the non-profit that works to end childhood hunger – and all guests who donate any amount to SOS’s No Kid Hungry campaign can purchase the burger for $1.87.
Throughout May (National Burger Month), guests who donate $5 to Share Our Strength will receive a coupon book with free or discounted Back Yard Burgers favorites. Coupon offers include $3 off any adult combo, a free order of fries with any purchase, and a free cobbler with any combo purchase.
The restaurant’s goal is to raise $50K in May for SOS. The restaurant’s goal is to raise $50,000 for No Kid Hungry as part of National Burger Month.
